My room had to be used to house the guests, which is fine by me because we always use it for meetings and all that anyway. My friend at work, (cool chillax lady, heart her) then offered her room for today so I could still carry out my sessions. (:

So I spent a good half hour moving some of the important stuff that I would need to use for the following session. Yes, you read it right- a good half hour.

When I finally settled down in the temporary room, my friend scanned her room, looked at my things in her room and finally said,

"You just moved your WHOLE OFFICE in here!"

Heh.

So... you wanna be roomates? Haha.

Maybe,

All I need is a little distraction.

It's a beautiful sunny morning today. Things are definitely looking up. (:

I havent been to London but someone told me that the non stop raining days reminded him of London. Depressing weather, he said.

I actually like the rain. Correction, I love it.

If London is really what my teacher says, you reckon I can survive the depressing weather there? Haha.

"Its a beautiful night
And we are looking for something dumb to do.
I think I want to marry you."

I first heard this song about 3 days ago after I decided to tune in to the radio since its has been awhile.

First few thoughts :
1. Cheeky
2. Cute
3. Who sings this song?

I absolutely loved the lyrics when I finished listening to it. I actually smiled to myself while the song was playing.

And after awhile, it didnt matter who sang it or what the title was.

I just like it. Just the way it is.

Then I heard it the second time. And I still smiled at the end of it. Then I heard it the third time, and I was pretty convinced I fell in love with the song.

I still didnt know who sang it. But it didnt bother me. Not one bit.

I couldve have gone not knowing anyway. Would it matter? I didnt like it because someone famous sang it. Or because some popular tv show did a cover of it.

Of course inevitably, with the power of technology I came to know the singer behind the song. I didnt look it up. It was just everywhere haha.

But to be honest I was least surprised that it is sung by Bruno Mars. I've always seemed to like his songs even before knowing he is the mastermind of it. First Grenade then a bunch more. Than this.

So,
1. Bruno Mars, I think Im beginning to like your poetry.
2. I love this song. Period.
3. If you serenaded this song to me, Im sold.

(:

It's time to quite cold turkey. Again.

And it is almost not as funny anymore.

I hate you for this.

I like pretty things.

But to tell you the truth, I can get quite sad thinking about how much I've wasted my money on something I know I can get it so much cheaper some place else if I gave it a little more time.

This is how cheap I am.

Don't go shopping with me. I'd ruin your day.

I woke up at 5am today feeling.... happy.

Like all the problems were lifted from my shoulders.
Like all the bad memories were erased from my mind.
Like I was taken away to a good place and enjoyed the beauty of nature.

I was not cranky,
not angry,
not at all bitter.

I was happy.

This is why I enjoy sleeping, even when I'm actually not sleepy. Because somehow, it brings me to a fantasy where I am welcomed.

Gosh. I sound looney.

It is important to reflect.

Only then you can know what is the root cause of the problem.

Can't reflect? Here let me help you.

So if you think one kid isn't talking to you, then maybe you can say,

"Oh dang. I must have done something wrong. "

Or you could also put a possibility that,

Good call.

So maybe two children aren't communicating with you, then maybe you can say,

"Oh dang. I must have done something wrong."

Or, there is also a possibility that,

Good call.

But when THE MAJORITY of the community isn't talking to you,

You don't have to think so hard genius. It is DEFINITELY something that you did wrong.

So don't be hatin' on those kids. Don't be blamin' on them kids.

We ain't trouble. You are.

Reflect.

Nsync thanks you for your time and says,

Leech

Definition of leech (from dictionary.com)

noun

  • any bloodsucking or carnivorous aquatic or terrestrial worm of the class Hirudinea, certain freshwater species of which were formerly much used in medicine for bloodletting.

  • a person who clings to another for personal gain, esp. without giving anything in return, and usually with the implication or effect of exhausting the other's resources; parasite.

Am so glad you actually disappeared. Once in a while, a friendly presence is nice. But staying on, like a friggin parasite, was definitely a TOTAL waste of my time.

I don't miss you. But that shouldn't come as a surprise.

Be gone. And stay gone.

Team Obama thanks you for your time disappearence.

I'll let you out on a world known secret- I'm no top scorer. I was that kid who was always under the radar, who procrastinated, who got mediocre results.

That's me. Still me.

You see I think at the end of it all, it's not so much about the final product, its really more about the process.

The process of finding where you fit in,

and then quickly settling down to mug for the exams,

and then letting loose to relax after exams,

And then the whole cycle starts all over again.

If you think this was after-exam party, you are greatly wrong. This was actually a Welcome Back Party. So technically, this depicts the process of finding where you fit in once again and quickly settling down (hahah settling down YAR RIGHT).

So at this point I would like to say THREE things.

1. I miss Medan. Food so cheap we were willing to brave the (friggin) hot sun. No joke.

Of course, the company was always priceless. (:

2. If you can spot me, you are as awesome as the experience I had during the camp.

Found me yet? Zoom in. I'm there. Serious.

3. I miss all of you. Every.Single.One.Of.You.

Wishing all of you good health. May you excell in whatever that you are doing today. Bless you all =)

Don’t be afraid to be a fool. Remember, you cannot be both young and wise. Young people who pretend to be wise to the ways of the world are mostly just cynics. Cynicism masquerades as wisdom, but it is the farthest thing from it. Because cynics don’t learn anything. Because cynicism is a self-imposed blindness, a rejection of the world because we are afraid it will hurt us or disappoint us. Cynics always say no. But saying yes begins things. Saying yes is how things grow. Saying yes leads to knowledge. “Yes” is for young people. So for as long as you have the strength to, say yes.

Ouch. That hurts. WHO DID THAT?

Prolly my conscience. ok shut up kthxbye.

I get sleepy when the sun starts to rise. I'm not quite sure why.

I feel like I could really use a nap, especially between 8.30am to 10am. This is why I try to keep my room dark because I'm trying to stay awake.

I had a large dose of coffee fix yesterday. But I came home and slept like log. Even with the lights on.

But it's amazing how the brain runs fast at 3am in the morning.

So questions arise from all these:
  • is there something wrong with my meletonin levels?
  • maybe is a case of dysfunctional biological clock?
  • caffeine don't work so much anymore?

I think bottomline, I'm just lazy. Hail to the Queen of Procrastination.
