And you have no idea how I'm excited. Like... Ross excited.

Well! We’ve been hearing about Ghostbusters 3 for a while now, but apparently, it’s finally starting to get somewhere.
Here is what we know so far from /Film, Firstshowing, and MTV:
- Writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky of “The Office” will be tackling the screenplay (interesting choice)
- Sony is shooting for a 2011 release
- The of the original cast will be back as “mentors” to a new group of young Ghostbusters
Check out what Harold Ramis has to say about the new film below…
And as for the Ghostbuster’s coming into a new millennium with new special effects, it looks like they’re being going all out. Harold Ramis (Dr. Egon Spengler) told MTV in a recent interview:
“There will be a whole new generation that has to be trained, and that whole new generation will be led by an individual who you’ll all love when you meet him but I’m not going to tell you anything yet,” teased Aykroyd. “They’ll be lots of cadets, boys and girls, who’ll be learning how to use the psychotron, the accelerators and all the new stuff, the neuron splitter, which is going to be the interplaner, interceptor and all these great tools that they’re going to have, to flip from dimension to dimension.”
The guy certainly knows his technology jargon. Sounds like they’ll be going all out! Dimension hoping, neuron splitters, sounds like every boys dream! It also sounds like there won’t just be another group of Ghostbusters, but a Ghostbuster fleet. Perhaps they’ve taken fighting demons mainstream.

I know this is prolly stuff I've heard before but it's good to know Ramis has alot of plans with passing down the technology to the new generation. =D
In other news,
Hey sweetie. Looking forward to 2012! And 2011! =D
This is a good Saturday.
